I created a web app for housing related calculations, FIRE calculator is on the way

Hi everyone,

I’ve created a tool to capture the most important real-estate calculations.

What I’m aiming for:

• Easy to understand and use
• Educational value
• Simple sharing functionality if you want to share your results and discuss with someone else
• Super-friendly UI
• Comprehensive inputs

Why I’m building it:

• Existing tools either miss key features or make the inputs and results hard to interpret
• None of them cover every scenario I need

UI feature highlights of this tool:

• Optimized for both cell phone and laptop/desktop
• On the web view, you can switch between split view and single view(input/output), and use the vertical edge switch button to switch between the two
• You can click the pin button on top of input/output panel in split view to scroll up and down in each panel in place

Functionality highlights:

• step-by-step analysis and 30-year breakdown in some tools
• comprehensive input

My goal:

• Build the best real-estate calculator on the market while meeting all the objectives above

Future improvements and features I can think of:

1. more accurate calculation in each tool, like adding the real tax rate of each zip code
2. user login feature so users can save the past results
